Improving Your Appearance and Ability to Chew
Dentures do not feel like real teeth, nor do they function exactly like real teeth. However, dentures do help people with:
- Chewing ability is improved with a full set of teeth and dentures fixed using implants provide better denture connection and chewing ability
- Natural appearance of the face by providing support for the lips and cheeks and correcting the collapsed appearance that results from loss of teeth.
- Improved pronunciation during speaking that is difficult due to missing teeth
- Self-esteem and overall confidence
Dr. Buntemeyer does provide a free consultation if needed. Just ask about this when you call the office.
Denture: constructed to replace missing teeth. Conventional dentures are removable. However, there are many denture designs, some which rely on bonding or clasping onto teeth or dental implants.
Partial dentures are removable partial denture for a partially edentulous patient who desires to have replacement teeth for functional or aesthetic reasons and who cannot have a bridge for any reason, such as a lack of required teeth to serve as support for a bridge or financial limitations.
